Visitors Galore, and More Progress!

Jo and I didn't see Aidan over the weekend but Aidan was very happy to see his uncle Cliff's family arrive who came to visit along with uncle Rod and aunt Stacey. Jo and I went home to do a whack of housework, grocery shopping and church going.
Uncle Cliff & Aunt Tammy, Cousins Randall & James
who is getting a strong hug around the neck

Two big events started  Monday for Aidan. Unfortunately they are unphotographable (or at least unbloggable) as well as unmentionable since one involved a suppository, and the other a huge tub of warm water. Very productive and enjoyable nevertheless.

Then came the visitors, at least eight, of which two were highly memorable.

Zach is a friend from Aidan's school who is no stranger to Stollery hospital beds. He has an extremely rare genetic disease and has spent many, many months in hospital since he was a baby.
Note that Aidan and Zach are both technobrats.

Jules is a new friend from the Calgary area who had the identical surgery that Aidan had. She showed him the pictures of her scar, and of her BRAIN! all red and grey looking in her photo scrap book! Very encouraging to Aidan to know that as he works hard on his exercises he will walk and move his arm again.
Notice too, the Isaiah 40:31 poster about waiting on the Lord and renewing strength, flying like eagles, and running without weariness!

After many repetitions, finally!! Aidan, with much grimacing and grunting, can move his right leg, (with only minimal help from his physiotherapist), all this way out and back!
Thank you, Lord, for your healing touch!
