A whole new set of nurses and attendants are now looking after Aidan and enjoying his positive attitude and big smile.
Aidan loved the ride in the inter-hospital transfer ambulance. No flashing lights, but when another motorists cut in front of the ambulance on the snow laden streets, the driver beeped the ambulance horn, but to his surprise, and Aidan's delight, the siren went off. It had "accidentally" been set to siren instead of horn.
In the Glenrose Aidan will have a heavy regimen of physio-therapy exercises to do every day. But, he told us, "There is a swimming pool and I get to go in every day!!"
Aidan's first meal at a table in over a month, a big change from lying in bed all the time. Note Grandma reporting the news to mom Cheryl who is home sick for a few days.
In the Glenrose dining room, Aidan with several other boys in wheelchairs around the table.
