Day Six and Day Seven

Aidan came home six days after his surgery, fully hooked up with a portable antibiotic pump. He carries the pump and the 500 cc bag of antibiotic in a sling bag over his shoulder which makes him mobile.

He is on semi-bed rest, however, since he is still in recovery from the surgery. He has been suffering more seizures than usual, probably the result of all the stress and trauma he has undergone in the past week. 

Pray that his seizures will get fewer and less severe as he catches up on sleep and rest. 

He also needs to be very careful to not touch his scalp or get his head near anything that might contaminate the still healing scars. 

The staples are to be removed on Thursday, Day Nine. 

He is trying to keep up with school work but will not be attending school until after the Christmas holidays. 

Aidan is in good spirits and it is hard to keep him quiet and resting.

Thus far all seems to be going well. Thank You, Lord!
