On the One Hand . . . But on the Other Hand . . .

On the one hand, Aidan is improving in many areas. He recently graduated to walking with only an ordinary cane.

What's more, he was allowed to walk independently wherever he wanted on the ward without anyone hovering nearby or holding onto him.

Naturally Aidan was delighted. All the more so since he is slated to be dismissed from the Glenrose Rehab hospital at the end of this month.

On the other hand, Aidan has been having a few more seizures this past week, more so than in previous weeks. This has been disappointing to him, he is back to walking only under supervision.

And just recently he had several clusters of seizures that totally wear him out and leave him emotionally wrung out. Very discouraged and needing a lot of love and care.

The doctors are not too concerned. They think that tweaking his medications will solve the problem eventually. But in the meantime Aidan is worried that he won't go home at the end of the month. And he finds it hard to go to sleep, worrying that he will have a cluster while he is sleeping.

So he needs plenty of love, care and prayer at this time.
