Aidan Goes to Camp Everest

This weekend, June 21-24, Aidan is at Camp Everest, a special camp for kids 7 to 17 years old who have had brain or spinal cord surgery. He left on a bus on Friday morning and will return on Monday morning.

All the camp staff, counselors, etc, are either medical doctors or nurses. They all know the children since they have had them as patients in the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton. 

It's Okay Mom, You Can Go (Aidan and Nurse/Counselor)

Aidan went two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the time then. He couldn't go last year because of a conflict with a major family vacation. But this year he's there. He was excited and pleased to be going. So much so that he asked his mom and me (Grandpa Jack) to leave and just go home. Which we did, except that I did sneak back and take a picture of him climbing on the bus.
