Aidan's Last Few Days as an Outpatient in the Glenrose Rehab

The basic message from Aidan to his brain is:
"Listen up, brain, I know you feel hurt but here are the facts. I have TWO arms. Count them! And just because my left arm and hand can do everything 100 times as good as my right arm and hand, does NOT mean I am giving up on them. So don't you either! Look at that Sun shining! So let's get going to therapy!"

On our way to a Right Arm Therapy session.

This is a whole lot harder than it looks. Good thing the bar I am holding is foam and not metal or I would have bruises all over. Slowly up and slowly down.

Hang on Right hand or I'll get a smack in the eye!

Arm wrestling another piece of foam. It took quite a few tries, but I got it!

This is NOT playing with little pegs. You don't know how hard it is to keep my smart aleck LEFT hand off to one side so it won't help my RIGHT hand which is working very hard trying to hang onto those pegs.

Almost got them all out. But then, of course, I need to put them all back in. My left hand can help by picking up the pegs and putting them in my right hand.

Almost done. Another couple of hundred times and maybe my brain will catch on that Right hand is really there.
